Hopkins Hardwood Design is owned and operated by artist and craftsman Nicholas Hopkins in Wading River, New York. What began with a passion for woodworking has grown into a collection of functional artwork designed to showcase the natural beauty of hardwood.
Every piece is individually designed and handcrafted, and all artwork and designs are original to Hopkins Hardwood Design. Working with more than 20 species of domestic and exotic hardwoods from around the world allows each creation to showcase its own natural colors, grain patterns, and character. No dyes, paints, or stains are used to create the colors you see.
From cutting and charcuterie boards to butcher blocks, serving trays, Lazy Susans, sushi boards, and other original pieces, no two creations are exactly alike. Each piece is made with careful attention to detail and built to be both functional and beautiful.
The goal behind Hopkins Hardwood Design is simple: create original, one-of-a-kind pieces that stand out, serve a purpose, and are built to last for years to come.
